Welcome to the Burlington District of the United Methodist Church, North Carolina Conference. The Burlington District is one of 12 districts in the North Carolina Conference and is comprised of Alamance, Caswell, Orange, and a bit of Chatham counties.
The congregations of our district are extremely diverse as we are centrally located between Greensboro and Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill. Our district congregations range from small rural churches to suburban and "city" churches.

I am originally from Bynum, NC, earlier a textile village in North Chatham County. I grew up a Methodist in the one small church in the village. I went to public school in Pittsboro and from there to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In my senior year at UNC, I experienced a call to ministry and upon graduation entered Duke Divinity School. While at Duke, I served as a student pastor at a two-point charge in North Chatham County and then Hebron UMC outside of Mebane for my final two years at Duke.
